Our partnership originated in Europe, with one of the earliest price lists in Weitnauer’s archives dating back to 1953. It expanded to the Americas in the 1980s, marking the start of a new chapter in Travel Retail – a focus that remains central to our cooperation with PMI today. The partnership now spans Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean, managing a portfolio of over 280 active SKUs across these regions.
As PMI Global Travel Retail (GTR) leads the global shift toward a smoke-free transformation, Weitnauer remains a trusted and valued partner. Over the past five years, PMI’s smoke-free portfolio has grown by approximately 36% within our business portfolio.
Our shared priority remains clear: to transition from transactional sales in global travel retail to experiential shopping, while expanding the smoke-free category and presenting legal-age nicotine users with better alternatives to traditional cigarettes.
