In 2025, as part of its 160th anniversary, Weitnauer Group launched Employee Spotlight series called W-People on LinkedIn — a global employee spotlight series dedicated to colleagues who have been with the company for more than 10 years.
We asked seven questions.
We heard 46 stories.
They came from different countries.
They were shared in different languages — from Spanish to German and beyond.
And yet, the answers kept returning to the same place.
A Shared Feeling, Spoken in Many Languages
Across regions and roles, colleagues described Weitnauer not just as a workplace — but as a place of belonging.
Daniel Schwinn, Graphic Designer, SIGMA
“If I had to write a chapter in a book I would be learning and playing as a family. Because in Weitnauer we are surrounded by good people.”
Dina Ríos, General Secretary, SIGMA
“If I had a book I would call it Family in Weitnauer. Because in Weitnauer it feels like one big family.”
Different words. Different languages.
The same meaning.
Growth That Happens Over Time — and Alongside Life
Long service at Weitnauer is rarely a straight line. Roles change. Responsibilities grow. Life moves forward in parallel.
Margareth Figueredo, Human Resources, SIGMA
“All these years, what stands out the most is the family-like environment. The way we help each other — that’s what truly motivates you to work.”
She then added a detail that quietly puts time into perspective:
“When I started, my son was just a few months old — and today he is 31.”
Her story reflects a recurring theme across W-People: careers unfolding alongside families — supported by a team through every stage.
Learning That Never Stops
Many colleagues spoke about evolving roles and constant learning as a reason they stayed.
Gloria Loo, Finance Team
“Over the years, my role has shifted and evolved in ways I never expected. It’s been exciting to grow professionally while knowing the team believes in what I can accomplish.”
Svetlana Maksimović, Dior Training Manager, Promands Serbia
“What kept me here all these years is definitely passion for the brand and the people I work with.”
Across stories, one truth was clear:
it was never boring — because learning never stopped.
The Moments That Stay With You
Some memories were about milestones. Others about trust.
Jelena Popović, Designer Fragrances Brand Manager, Promands Serbia
“One special moment I’ll never forget was my first solo product launch — seeing it on the shelf was incredibly rewarding.”
Pedro Vásquez, Accounts Receivable Specialist, SIGMA
“If I were to write a book, I’d call it Safe Harbor — because that’s how I feel at SIGMA: safe.”
These moments mattered not only because of the result — but because of the people behind them.
Support That Makes the Difference
Across countries and cultures, colleagues spoke openly about support — especially during difficult moments in private life.
Telma Gimenez, Accounts Receivable Supervisor, SIGMA
“What I love most about my job is the people — they’re not just colleagues, they’re practically family.”
Fernando Barboza, Sales Manager, SIGMA
“We truly feel like one big family — we support each other, especially when it matters most.”
This sense of support was one of the strongest common threads across all stories.
Advice That Travels Across Borders
Different roles. Different markets. The same advice.
Jelena Ivančević, Brand Manager, Promands Serbia
“Be true to yourself, and never give up — even when things feel hardest.”
Peter Jucker, CFO Weitnauer Americas
“Work hard, contribute your ideas, be a strong team member — and never forget to enjoy what you do.”
What W-People Revealed
W-People started as an anniversary initiative.
It became a reflection of Weitnauer’s culture — told by the people who live it every day.
Different countries.
Different languages.
And still the same answers:
Learning a lot. Growing constantly. Never boring.
Being supported by the team — even when life gets difficult.
Thank you to everyone who shared their story — and to all long-standing colleagues who continue to shape Weitnauer, every day.
