160 Years of Commitment: Giving Back to Our Communities

This anniversary year was a milestone—and we asked ourselves a simple question: how do we share the celebratory spirit across markets that look so different? Our teams are based on four continents, across multiple time zones, working with different brand portfolios and local realities.

We found a clear, meaningful answer: for 160 years, Weitnauer Group has grown with the markets it serves. So, instead of one central event, we launched a group-wide charity initiative – guided by one shared idea and delivered locally.

Each team selected a non-profit organization in their own community and supported it in a practical way, from healthcare and education to inclusion and family support.

As the year comes to an end, let’s take a closer look at the impact of this anniversary charity initiative — and the meaningful results our local teams delivered across communities worldwide.

Care, dignity, and support in healthcare

In Paraguay, our colleagues supported Hogar San Agustín and Santa Elena Children’s Home Foundation (H.I.S.E.) – helping strengthen care for elderly residents and children who rely on stable community support.

In Brazil, our team supported patients at Nefroclínica in Foz do Iguaçu with winter kits. Simple items. Real comfort. A small expression of solidarity at the right moment.

In Ivory Coast, the team organised donations of essential goods for Maison Akwaba by Soleterre, supporting children with cancer and their families during treatment at Treichville University Hospital. When families are focused on care, easing everyday needs matters.

In Kenya, our colleagues partnered with Faraja Cancer Support Trust and the Integrated Molecular Imaging Centre (IMIC)—supporting cancer care pathways and access to advanced diagnostics. Progress in health is rarely built alone. Partnerships make it possible.

Education as a long-term investment

In Croatia, our team donated school equipment to support 100 children assisted by Mali Zmaj in Zagreb. Tools for learning can be a small thing on paper—and a big shift in a child’s daily life.

In Slovenia, together with Botrstvo v Sloveniji, accommodation costs for five students from socially disadvantaged families were covered for an entire school year. Stability creates focus. Focus creates opportunity.

In the United States, our Miami team supported the Parish Construction Project in the St. Katharine Drexel Church area—an initiative improving infrastructure and expanding access to education, including new schools and upgraded public spaces. These projects build practical value that lasts.

Inclusion, closeness, and community connection

In Serbia, colleagues at Promands Serbia supported the NURDOR Serbia Parents’ House project, which provides accommodation for families whose children undergo treatment away from home. Being able to stay close is not a luxury—it is support.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, our team closed the initiative with Budi mi drug Ilijaš (“Be My Friend”). Members with physical disabilities received care and activity equipment. But the most important part was time. We shared it. We listened. We became friends. That is what inclusion looks like in practice.

Carrying the spirit forward

In 2025, our local teams supported nine associations worldwide. Different countries. Different needs. One shared intention: to contribute where we are present, in ways that make sense locally.

We are grateful to give back—and we will carry this spirit forward.

Because distribution is not only about moving goods.
It is about being a reliable part of the communities we serve.
