Weitnauer Group marked a strategic milestone by launching a new distribution hub in Uruguay, expanding in the South American market. This hub is designed to enhance travel retail synergies between existing operations in Brazil and Paraguay, strengthening the company’s omnichannel expertise and market reach. Positioned to streamline access to Latin American markets, the bonded logistics platform has already improved supply chain efficiencies and demand planning.

Despite initial challenges like extended lead times, Weitnauer’s agile response through regional supplies ensured a smooth go-to-market process. The results are promising, with nearly 50 points of sale now being supplied in Uruguay and Brazil. Key successes include strong performances from La Martiniquaise’s spirits brands, such as Label 5 and Glen Turner, and high demand for fragrance portfolios from Coscentra and ABC. Additionally, the launch of Peroni beer in November signals further growth opportunities.
